Here is the most mouth-watering recipe of Chicken heart. Take these chicken hearts step by step and make them serve to your loved ones.


1 ½ lbs. chicken hearts

1 tbs vegetable oil

1/2 cup chopped onion

¼ onion chopped ginger

¼ tsp. of Garlic paste

4 green chilies (fine chopped)

Red chili powder ½ tsp. (skip chilies if you don’t like spices)

½ tsp. oregano

Salt (according to your taste)

Sugar ½ tsp.

Chopped coriander (for garnish)

4 cup of boiled rice.


Step No. 1

In the First step, you need to wash the chicken hearts with boiled water and ginger.

Take a bowl of boiled water and add 4 to 5 pieces of chopped ginger in it. Add chicken hearts in it and stir for 1 minute and through the boiled water.

Step No. 2

Take a medium-sized pan and add ½ cup of vegetable oil. Heat the oil on medium flame and add chopped onion, chilies, garlic paste, and chopped ginger. And cook them for 2 minutes.

Step No. 3

Now add chicken hearts in it and mix them all well for 1 minute. Now add ½ tsp. of sugar and ¼ tsp. of salt, mix it well.

Step No. 4

Cover the pan and leave it on low flame. Dry the water. Add chili powder and ½ tsp. of oregano and mix it well.

Step No. 5

Now you are done with chicken hearts. Take them all in a dish and garnish it with chopped coriander. Serve it with boiled rice.

Chicken Heart with Mushrooms


1 ½ lbs. chicken hearts

½ cup of vegetable oil

½ teaspoon chopped garlic

1/3 cup flour

1 table spoon vegetable oil

¾ cup chopped onion

½ cup chopped mushrooms

1 teaspoon table salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon dried oregano

6 cup of boiled rice


It takes only 30 minutes to get ready.

Step No.1

In a 6 inches deep pan on high heat pour ½ cup of vegetable oil and add slowly and gradually flour in it. Mix it with a spoon to make a roux.

Step No.2

Keep stirring, it turns light brown. It will take a maximum of 6 minutes to get ready. Turn the heat off.

Step No.3

Take pan of 12 inches. Add 1 table spoon vegetable oil in it over medium-high heat. Now add onions and mushrooms in it and cook them for 3 minutes.

Step No.4

Cut the hearts in half. Add them in the skillet with garlic and salt. Cook it for 3 minutes.

Step No.5

Slowly stir it and add oregano and black pepper in it. Add roux and stir to mix it well. Now reduce your heat and cover it with lid. Cook it for more 10 minutes on low heat.

Serve it with boiled rice.

Note: you can add chicken broth in it too (in step 4) 1 ¾ cups of it. This whole recipe contains 590 calories, 32g fat, Saturated fat 9g, sodium 520mg, carbohydrates 53g, sugar 1g, and Protein 23g.

Pakistani Recipe of Chicken Heart

Chicken hearts are very common in Pakistan. You will love to have it.


1 lb. chicken hearts (cut in half)

Half cup oil (vegetable)

Half cup chopped onion

½ tsp chopped garlic and ginger

1 teaspoon chili flakes

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon yogurt


Take a 12 inches skillet on medium-high heat and add vegetable oil in it. Now add onion in it. Stir it slowly let it turns light brown.

Now add garlic and ginger in it with chicken hearts. Cook it for 30 seconds.

Now add yogurt, salt, and chili flakes in it. Stir for 1 minute.

Cook it for 10 to 12 minutes on low flame.

Open the lid and mix it well. Stir it for 3 minutes and add oregano in it. Turn the flame off and enjoy your meal.

You can have it with boiled rice or with wheat roti (as u like). Add drops of lemon. It enhances the sour taste in your dish.
